 STRIKE: “BE PATIENT, TWO YEARS ISN’T TOO MUCH TO SACRIFICE”, SAYS ASUU PRESIDENT


The Academic Staff Union Of Universities, ASUU has vowed to not back down from the ongoing industrial action until FG do the needful.

ASUU National President, Prof. Emmanuel Osodeke made the vow on Wednesday as the NLC Mega rally In Abuja kicks off.

"We won't back down, we will fight to the end, two years is not too much to sacrifice for the coming generations", he said.

He expressed appreciations to the NLC and other unions for their intervention in the current struggles, and also pleaded with Nigerian Students to be patient with the UNION.
